I don't know about Denver, they are a half game behind Utah for the 8th spot and only a half game in front of Portland. Of their 5 games left, they have Houston, Portland, Sacramento, and San Antonio. That is very tough. I'm not so sure about Denver in the playoffs. That is, of course, unless the Kings and Spurs spots are set and they rest their starters.
I'd agree if Denver didn't get Sacramento at home (Sacramento is sliding and has not been an overpowering road team all year) and if they did not have the tiebreaker over the Jazz (3-1).
