Ostertag was foolish. He's not a superstar, he's not even a star for that matter. So he needs to keep a cool head and not expect to get certain fouls called.

Though it is true That is one of the saddest comments about NBA reffing. It really means that in many cases refs not players decide the outcome of the game. The foul call was on a block on Walker who is not exactly a star and shouldn't get a break from the ref either. The foul Shaq committed on Ostertag was a absolute hack job and should be called no matter who the two players are.

Shaq's got if ruff too. I record a lot of Lakers games. After reviewing tape, he gets fouled almost everytime down the court. I understand why, of course he so big what else can you do, but to complain about fouls when it comes to Shaq in the beginning of the first quarter that's just foolish.

I know Shaq gets fouled too but he also fouls someone everytime down court. You can't play Shaq's style of game and expect to not be fouled. He dishes out as much as he recieves.

Sloan was ejected much later. And it's not like it's the first time either.

I agree. The Jazz needed him and there is no excuse for getting ejected. If the game starts that way it is unlikely to get better but you have do the best you can and adjust to the refs.
Sloan said in the post game interviews on the Jazz's radio station that his ejection, even though it was later, was related to the earlier calls. He said the more he thought about those calls the madder he got.
