How would you guys feel about letting Kwame go? If he underperforms, I mean. Is everyone afraid of a Ben Wallace type scenario, where he'll become a star elsewhere?
I'm thinking if he averages something like 10 and 7 next year, still shows inconsistencies, still looks lost, should we even bother with him?
I don't think we should let our past mistakes cloud our judgment- I don't want to see us resign him based on potential, something we'll have been waiting 4 years to see, and conversely; I don't want us to give into his demands for a huge contract if he goes for a decent 15/9. He's got to be looking around at the truckloads of cash being thrown around at mediocre players recently and thinking he could really cash in next year.
