You really overrate your own team. I'd take Mobley over Hughes for his defense, Nelson over Blake, Cato over Haywood, and Gooden over Thomas (even though he just signed an offer sheet with another a team). Orlando never faced an even remotely healthy Washington team last year. One of the games we suited up 7 guys.
I don't think Mobley is a better defender than Hughes at all. When Hughes doesn't have to carry the offensive load he's a hell of a defender.
Nelson over Blake, it's arguable, Blake has already proven he's good backup PG, Nelson has not.
We're not just adding Jamison, we're looking at big improvement from Kwame Brown. It's his 4th year, he's been working all summer, reports are that he's developed a nice outside shot which is what he was missing last year. It's also a contract year for Haywood so I would expect him to be extra motivated. Also, you act like Jamison is a scrub, he's a highly efficient 20/8 player in the East and maybe an All-Star. The Wizards now have the best offensive team in the East, and one of the best rebounding teams in the East.
