I think Denver signing KMart to the max is a good move, better than the Nets' decision of not matching the offer, which in itself is not that bad of a decision.

Denver has great financial ability over next few years. This is what big cap-space does to you: to overpay someone a little bit and still come out in great shape financially. I know Denver probably will not have that much cap room left in next few years but their rosters are already shaped. When and if they found out in later years this roster isn't as great as they thought, if that's the case they still will have some expiring contracts to work with.
