I agree that Marion is a more complete player than Peja, but the exact opposite of what was said in this thread is true - Marion is the role player and Peja is the franchise player.

Would any of you take Eddie Jones over Reggie Miller? Remember, in their prime, Jones had way more athleticsm , much better defense, better handle, slightly better rebounder, better at creating his own shots and overall the complete package to Miller's great offense and limited contributions in other areas. I tell you what, I'd take the skinny 3-pt specialist in a heatbeat. Why? Miller was the franchise while Jones was a very good role player.

In my book, anyone who can fight with AI and TMac for the scoring title is a franchise player. In fact, I expect Peja to get 25 to 27 ppg if he gets traded to a mildly talented team.

I also quickly realized that he is extraordinarily talented. Like, really, really good. But then, something else: People allowed all of the former because of the latter." - Former NBA player Paul Shirley

"Kevin Garnett shares some of Bryant’s personality traits. He’s arrogant…but he realizes it. He can be insufferable…but he laughs about it. He’s intense…but he can turn it off. Kevin Garnett is like the sane person who thinks he might be going crazy. Kobe Bryant is the crazy person who thinks that everyone else is insane." - Former NBA player Paul Shirley
