Yeah, I've seen it. But if he's contributing its not necessarily a terrible thing. Just means you've got a good player locked in for awhile. Where it becomes burdensome is if he's hurt all year again. But on a squad that'll never be near under the cap as long as KG is here anyway, it doesn't really hurt us as far as who we could get. And Trenton's contract may be long, but its for less than the league average, so its not like its extremely large.
Add that to the fact that Wally and Trenton are 2/3 of a 3 man rotation for the SG/SF position, that Wally (offense/shooting) and Trenton's (defense/athlete) games mesh together well, and that the 3rd man in that rotation turns 35 this year, and it could be very smart to have both locked up long term.
That is, unless somebody offers something good for Wally, then maybe you take it and run...
