Would Brad Miller be Brad Miller if he wasn't surrounded by scorers and shooters in the Kings motion offense? He wasn't the same Brad Miller before joining the Kings.

That's not to say Twin and Miller are equally over-all skilled, but the specific skills (bball IQ, passing, unselfishness, toughness under the basket, jumpshot) that make Brad Miller a star on the Kings are also Twin's relative strengths. The problem has been that Twin has been part of a motion offense that was missing the necessary outside shooting and 'triple threat' components from the perimeter, the key to the Kings attack. That team weakness has placed more emphasis on the Cs' low-post game which he lacks, but so does Brad Miller.

The Nets perimeter shooting should go up this season with the likes of RJ improving, Mercer, Buford, Best, more time for Veal, E-Will, and Jabari Smith. If that happens, Twin's performance should go up.
