correction. evidently the big ten will allow ohio state to play. they allowed michigan to play two seasons ago. it is in their bylaws that teams who are not eligible for postseason play can still participate in the tournament. if they were to win it they will forfeit their automatic bid. kind of a strange policy to have, but that's how they do it.
