Also if we want to talk about John's summer league performances, his last time out was his worst time as Willie Green was clearly the Sixers best summer leaguer. I know to some, it might seem like I'm being overly negative, but people have to notice Green, Korver, and Salmons are reserves on good teams. Platooning Korver and Salmons at the SF isn't something that will help this team.
Look at the SFs on the playoff teams in the East from last year:
Miami - Eddie Jones
Detroit - Tayshaun Prince
Boston - Paul Pierce
Washington - Antawn Jamison
Bulls - Luol Deng
Pacers - Stephen Jackson
Nets - Richard Jefferson
Let me go a little further..
Cleveland - LeBron James
Milwaukee - Bobby Simmons
Orlando - Grant Hill
Charlotte - Gerald Wallace
Atlanta - Marvin Williams
Raptors - Jalen Rose
Knicks - Tim Thomas
The Eastern conference represents 63.4% of the Sixers schedule, and looking at those players, the Sixers with a platoon of Salmons and Korver would be at a disadvantage just about every single night. Simply because this team isn't talented enough to cover a hole that big in the starting lineup, and succeed.

Glad to see that someone other than me thinks Salmons stinks. Every SF listed above is much much better than him. Not even close, even Marvin Williams who hasn't played a official NBA game yet. I'm shocked the Sixers still think he will turn it around and "find his game".
