Purely from an outsiders perspective: I would have to frown on a signing of Bonzi Wells. Though if there's talk that he's a "Dunleavy guy", then I really don't know what to think. Truly, I try never to judge a book by it's cover. But where Bonzi's concerned, we're well into this novel and I, for one have seen nothing to this point which at all endears me to his character. Why not go after Watson instead? At least look for somebody who doesn't have a tendency to whine, lose focus and bring down the overall morale of the team. Bonzi is a talented player, no doubting that. But if he has yet to realize his "potential" by this point, and if Jerry West his giving him the boot in an option year, why would a team with excellent chemistry even consider a guy like this?
