Yes, I think Ben Wallace is a good defender. He's not as good at post defending as he is shot blocking, but I definately prefer shot blockers over people who steal the ball any day. I'd much rather have Jeff Foster or Scot Pollard guard a post player than Ben Wallace, but I'd rather Ben Wallace block shots than Foster or Pollard. Filling a stat sheet doesn't make you a bad defender, but there are some pretty bad defenders who do fill stat sheets.
