Thank you ... this article has been a long time coming. I think it belongs in the "General Section".
Allen has many fans that love him from since he entered the league, and would be happy to see this article of acceptance. You see, we could always see beyond the 'perception' a long time ago.
Yes, he is maturing. He is human and we all do it. But, the basic character of Allen is the same and always will be. He is true to himself and who he is; he will never be who the media wants him to be. For that, he is loved and respected.
Watch how the young and veteran players treat him on the court ... with admiration and respect.
I'd go as far as to say, he is much closer to MJ (in many ways other than his game) than any of the other players the league has termed "The next MJ". And, he does it without even trying, and has been acknowledged and is respected by the real MJ.
