A pretty fair assessment I'd say. I agree that right now the Lakers are in trouble. If they don't make a offseason trade that lands them a PG and a back up PF or C, they will only get a couple more wins than last season in my opinion.
With the lack of free agent PGs now... I'd say time is running out this offseason and it could end up being a long year.
I like Mckie, he is a classy guy.. But come on... Guys like a cripple practically. He should be coming off the bench.
Clippers have a decent bench (Lakers have no bench right now), and Clippers have a solid starting lineup with a lot of chemestry.. Where as the lakers need to rebuild a relationship this season especally after all the cuts and new "projects".
If season starts this way for the lakers and the Clippers, its the Clippers win to lose in my opinion.
