Players often look great one day and not so much the next. Plus, seeing Darko Milicic running roughshod on Andreas Glyniadakis is different from seeing him break down Kevin Garnett. Are you with me on that?

That said, though, here are some initial impressions.

Milicic has been impressive. Flip Saunders is putting him in comfortable positions and he is playing with confidence. I have always said he has real NBA skill, he just never knew how to apply it. It appears now that he does.
