because he's a shooting guard in a Center body, all he can do is shoot the ball aight, slow, weak. in asia he's awesome cuz everyone else including the guards are slow, and all the "big" man are week, but in the NBA, guards shoot better and quicker than him, C and PF are stronger and still quicker than him. If he's 7'6 and still have he's moves then yeah he be better than Yao probably, but he's not, totally useless for us. Keep in mind yao is a good player BECAUSE he's 7'6 and still have the skillz to do what he does, if Yao was 7 foot, he might just be a boarder line starter, half of he's shot will be blocked ( i mean even now guards blocked his shot before right) and he's gonna average about 3 rebound a game cuz he's vertical is about 2.5 inches.

p.s. Wangzizi skipping out on the chinese national team becuase he need to stay to seek a team that will pay him US$ show's some character too. for all the none chinese, this is how the Chinese national team work (at least to my understanding) you get "drafted" when you are like 5, and all you do it train, the government pays for your everything in hope of you bring "glory to the country on the world stage someday" I mean think about from the national team perspective, they spend mad money on this guy, and let him come to US to play in hope of him lead the chinese team to a medal, and this guys says "kiss my ***" after he get here, i mean i be kinda piiied off to. He should have know he's not made up for the NBA after the 1st season, but he was like the #1 player in China, people loved him there. he runied his own life/career, he had a contract, and he was then still an active solider of the Chinese army, which kinda make him a deserter, punishble by death =) no wonder he's not going back.
