I'm also taking into account all the years he's been in the league, having always been just a stat whore. If you look at all his previous seasons he's always been a 20 and 8 guy (and that ain't even good), except this year. He's never the pass first score later guy along with the talent he's always been surrounded by, he's never made anybody better i.e. Amare, K.G., Jayson Williams (who got the worst of him), and now Channing. Instead of making others better, he suppresses them into showing their true talent.
