I think the concerns about Glen Davis are namely his height & weight..

The fact that he is primarily a post player, a PF probably, but stands only 6'8 with average at best athleticism is a concern, you add to that his weight 300+ lbs and that adds even more concern...

This isn't football...For the most part 300lbs guys that are under 7ft tall don't usually excel in the NBA...and certainly you have to wonder if he can keep the weight off...since most guys of his girth (oliver Miller, Robert Traylor) have not been able to do that...

Look, Zach is a 6'8-6'9 PF, slightly undersized and not overly athleticl so players like that CAN excel, but I think Zach is definitely the exception to such players...there is a slew of similiar 6'8 or so PF types whose games just have fizzled in the NBA...Corliss Williamson comes to mind...

and even if best case scenario comes true and he turns out a similiar style player like Zach, do we need two of them? And I don't think the chance that he turns out that way is THAT likely as to pass on other prospects as good or better than Davis is...
