Cool NETS Need Another 'Dancin' Harry!'

I miss 'Dancin' Harry.' Once upon a time this game was so colorful.

You could go to a fierce rivalry like BAL-NYK and watch Dancin' Harry do his herky-jerky, voodoo spin dance and put a hex on the opposing team.

He started out with the Baltimore Bullets. He would patrol the sidelines and give his patented hex-dance to the opposition. As a NYK fan, I hated it, but enjoyed watching him do his thing.

I actually think that Dancin' Harry was responsible for the Knicks not winning the NBA championship in '70-'71.

Yeah, I think he got into Walt Frazier's head and under the skin of the NYK. Yeah, he rattled the Knicks and gave special powers to Earl Monroe.

I think after Monroe was traded to NYK, Dancin' Harry switched sides. Yeah, he was a turncoat, but recognized that the voodoo he dropped on the Knicks and others only worked if he had Earl Monroe to carry it to the opponent. I think he was a Monroe fan. He did the same for Dr. J. at PHI before retiring.

Say, I don't know if anyone followin' the NETS can go to Dancin' Harry School, but it'd be nice if the NETS could get a colorful character like him to unnerve opponents?

I miss him.
