Re: POR Threee Most Glaring Needs to Address

[quote=Kmurph]
Secondly, I think a key question is will youth scare off POR? Thomas is a freshman, Noah\Aldridge are sophmores...Bargnani is 19? 20?...Given the slow maturation process of Outlaw\Telfair and Webster, would mgmt really add ANOTHER 2-3 year project?
QUOTE]

Outlaw: This is his third season, but he didn't play at all really his rookie season.
Telfair: Second season, inconsistent
Webster: This time last year he was sittin in home room bored out his skull.

There may be an argument for slow development in Outlaw, and I understand you are saying we don't need another project, but I think it is a little unfair to talk about Telfair maturing slowly, though he was a lottery pick. And, it is a complete joke to say Webster is maturing slowly given the fact he just graduated high school 10 months ago and his playing time thi year has been extremely sporadic for no reason. Stints in the NBDL, and Nate always changing the line-up even if Webster has a good game, makes it kind of hard for a guy to put up an All-Rookie Team type season...
