OK, perhaps "lazy" was a bit strong. But, I had heard he wasn't even hitting the weights. Hard to blow out a knee doing that.

Exactly.

Hey, Ed....it amazes me sometimes...you know, with the amount of money these guys make.....that they don't have a personal trainer sitting on their collective butts 1 month out of the summer.

On a different note, I think the players association has been one of the main culprits in fostering that certain "laziness" amongst the ranks. Too much cush, not enough push (to get better.).
