This makes me nervous. I'd much rather have had Nash doing the draft and draft-related trades than Patterson. I hope he's only a figure-head, but with the ego typical of people like Patterson, and the ego (and, IMO, ignorance) he's displayed in some of the colorful language he's used in reference to some of our players, I don't like it (or him).

Edit: I agree with tlong -- that was exactly my immediate reaction. I imagine the other GMs are just licking their chops right now in anticipation of the crappy deals they are going to offer us.
