Oh, I'm sure Patterson can wheel and deal. I'm sure Patterson is a stern business man. I doubt he has the eye for talent or the basketball vision, or the expertise regarding the players we'd all like him to have at this critical juncture of the Blazers' future.

Nash spent all his time looking at players. Patterson spends his time running the business. Why would anyone assume Patterson is qualified to make personnel decisions at this point in the process? (BTW: I'm not a Nash lover.)

I would love to be wrong about this. I just hope he lets Pritchard and Gabriel call the shots.
