Just because this guy may have an interest in buying the Blazers does not necessarily mean that he plans to move the team to Anaheim. Larry Weinberg lived in LA and never tried to move the team there.

I think that if Vulcan were intent on letting the team be sold to be moved, they wouldn't have bothered working out the agreement with PAM. The franchise would be in bankruptcy and Paul Allen's attorneys would be working overtime to find a way to break the agreement with the City. While it may be fun to run around like Chicken Little yelling, "The sky is falling" every time one of these stories is written, I still think that by far the most likely outcome is that the Blazers remain in Portland.
