I think you're over-reacting just a smidge.
This is a very minor trade, and likely a very fair trade. Hoffa could potentially contribute on the right team, and the raptors are not the right team. The same thing could be said for humphries.
I looks like both players have been moved to a team where they will be given more of an opportunity for success.
Hoffa is, very obviously, not a Colangelo type of player. He's been on borrowed time since Bryan was hired.
So far you haven't posed a very strong argument that this transaction is cause for concern. The sky isn't falling. it is a small trade.
If there is one thing we should be prepared for with Colangelo, it is that he will pull the trigger...and often. Be prepared for many more changes....some good and some bad.
