05' Spurs. I think we match up with them the best, I think we'd of matched up with them the best this year. Saying we're not as good as them, or the 04' Pistons the year before that is nothing more than an baseless assumption.

Also, if I had to choose between the Mavs and the Spurs of this year to play in the finals, i'd have picked the Spurs.

Everybody said we'd go down to the Nets, then the Pistons, then the Mavericks. Dallas media even went as far as to call us unworthy opponents.

I guess the fact that the team keeps proving all the haters wrong, just keeps bringing more of it onto them. That's ok though. Heat are the champions, and we're not just gonna give our title up next year either.

We would have been right there with Detroit for best record if not for our injury plagued season. Luckily we got healthy and went 16-7 in the playoffs, including road wins against Dallas and Detroit. We played medicore basketball throughout the season for good reason. We played exceptional basketball in the post season. Weak champion? Weak argument.
