I say that if we can do that deal we just stick with who we'd have at that point and see how it works. I'd go with a lineup of c- Sheed pf- Zach sf- Thomas sg- Bonzi pg- GP. Round out the rotation with Davis, Anderson and McInnis. Call me crazy but that team looks like a contender.

Sheed at center is eeehh, Sheed is a very good defender but this limits his game and he isn't exactly the strongest at rebounding. Again this seems like too much talent on our roster, its a problem. If DA doesnt start then you must trade him for less talent plus a pick maybe. Theres only 1 ball to go around for all these guys and this isn't a way to build a team. Like Damon said on the Best Damn Sports Show, you gotta have players that dont expect to shoot that much or complain about it. You need somebody like a Voshon Lenard as a backup at SG or a Bruce Bowen at SF. You need some ordinary players at a couple positions to even things out. A Ruben Patterson would be better in our starting lineup than Tim Thomas, because Ruben gets his points of put backs and doesnt need the ball to be effective. Only thing Tim Thomas can do is expect the ball for a jump shot. This isn't going to work and I hope our GM understands this.
