As someone who works security at almost all the major concerts and venues around the city, let me tell you that's not true.

A Tribe would be the rock equivalent of, let's say Weezer. Weezer won't have any sketch kids and if they are it's only because they want to get back stage.

50 Cent, well that's more like a slayer show or something, in which case, yes lot's of stupid kids show up, but in those shows the older dudes seem to cause more problems than the younger ones. That's not the case with most hip-hop shows, most of the time the older guys are cool, it's the younger ones that get all hot under the collar.

Either way, when you're of age, you don't want to be hanging around some kid going green for the first time. How many older people do you see at all ages shows? Not as many as there are kids there.


Mind you I have an Anita Baker concert on Sunday, so that should be a really rough crowd...lol.
