Re: Sacrificing Wins for Oden
Although I want the team to play for wins every night, going for the likes of Oden or the other 4 potential picks is the real goal.
IMO this team needs another piece - a big man piece. It's probably our last chance at drafting a really good, high-level player before we win enough games to be out of the lottery.
I want us to finish in the bottom 4 - but play our butts off doing so.
Our young nucleus of Jack, Roy, Webster, and Aldridge are impressive and will one day be winners. Adding one more player; like Oden, Noah, Durant, even Hawes - we'd be stacked to build our great team by trading a few of them and acquiring the pieces we need.
San Antonio is built like this as well. Duncan, the big star, with Parker and Ginobili as the second fiddles. Roy and Webster are our second fiddles. Who will be our star??
