We can't judge this kind of thing until both Morrison and Aldridge develop (or in either case, don't develop). Aldridge was picked as a project, while Morrison will have an immediate impact on a young Bobcats team. No one realistically expects Aldridge to contend for ROY this year or even fight for a starting position; instead, the idea is that he'll improve enough over the next year or two or three.

KP and Co. have done their homework, no doubt about it. I have faith in the braintrust running the organization right now, so all we can do is wait to see who becomes the better, more complete player in time.
