I think Mo Cheeks wants to check the mentatility of these young forwards, that's why they haven't been cut yet. If you take a look at the Philadelphia 76ers, we stress defense and poor ball movement. But inspite of those 2 things we did horribly last year, rebounding was definately at the top of the list:

Which one of these forwards can continue to do their job as the regular season opens up? Which one of these forwards are going to work hard and execute even better then what they had to secure their jobs. Which one of them will anticipate making the roster and have the energy to prove their anticipation was worth it? I'm not saying Steve Smith or Ivan Mcfarlin are gonna fix our rebounding problem. But to have bodies on the bench with the potential to rebound, isn't nessarily that half bad.
