Great thread, and amazing highlights all around. NBA on NBC was the best!
The physical defense should be brought back. Along with handchecking. These players are talented, creative, and strong enough to utilize their skills to counter that kind of defense, as we all saw the greats do in the 90s. No reason the NBA stars of today shouldn't have to be put through the same ringer. Most importantly as those old highlights shows, physical basketball makes the game more intense and beautiful to watch all at the same time.
