I suggest you pop in a tape of Worthy 1985 and compare it to 1991. He might have averaged more in 1991 because Kareem was retired ,but athletically its not even close. Also keep in mind Worthy was injured in the 1991 NBA FINALS. He sprained his angle Game 6 of the WCF against Portland.
There is no way Levingston and Horace grant can shut down worthy for 3 straight games ,when Worthy used to destroy the pistons and Dennis Rodman.
