I agree with sending Chase and Powell down, but Dee Brown?? That makes zero sense in my book, sorry. First, the guy's better than that. Second, all those Illini who've been keeping track of the Jazz since he was drafted will fade away if Brown's the Illini they've been watching. Finally, same as I said about CJ Miles last year: You don't build long-term loyalty with moves like this, and while Chase and Powell might not matter, I think Brown will as time goes on. If the Jazz aren't loyal to him, why should he be loyal to them when the time comes to make decisions? Also--again like CJ--who's going to teach him Jazz basketball better, Jerry Sloan or some D-League has-been or never-was?

Ugh. I hate this.
