Shaq just made it 4 good teams in the East DETROIT, NETS(at that time), Indiana(at that time), and Miami. I would say the middle of the season before Shaq went to Miami when Rasheed was traded to Detroit was as important as Shaq going to Miami. When Sheed came to Detroit they went on a terrorist campain (lol). Teams were barely getting 70 points on them. On the East and on the West. Look how they manhandled the Lakers that year. THE BEST TEAM OUT OF THE WEST. Detroit was the real reason teams on the East started stacking and improving.
Why do you think the Heat after Shaq's first year picked up Mourning?.....Who were they preparing for?....
