Came to a franchise who had never won much for their All-star center and previous 1st round draft pick (both of whom ended in HOF) and immediately won the NBA title, following it with 11 NBA championships in 13 years despite changing every single player on the roster but himself over that time. Carried a group of teammates to Hall of Fame as well (Havlicek and Cousy deserved it, Sam Jones at best a maybe, Heinsohn, KC Jones, Bill Sharman and Frank Ramsey . . . well . . . . Russell carried them to the Hall of Fame with his winning). The most dominant player of all time, see the previous post; the greatest winner Bill Russell, the 2nd greatest winner and best shooting guard but far from the most statistically dominant player, Michael Jordan. GOAT wasn't decided when the great centers were playing, it isn't decided now (Kareem gets a mention too).
