Re: McDyess/Webber

This is very hard for me to decide.

They are both among my most favorite players (McDyess being the my absolute favorite). Webber's play making and post ups have been completely invaluable.

Not sure how long their good play will last. McDyess has proven himself as a great playoff contributor for two seasons.

I don't know.

Btw Stein gave Webber the MVP of the East

I think thats the heart of our team up there. Definitely my favorite part... I want to keep both

edit:

Thought about it more...

For the way the team is now, Webber is more valuable. He solidified the starters and doubled our ball movement and worked in the post.

If the team were to change, or if we were talking about a different team altogether, McDyess could be more valuable. He has a lot of advantages over Webber. Far more athletic, better shooter, faster, better defender, has been one to step up his play in big games and the playoffs.

Not sure if Webber will keep it up, but I'll say him for now. This might change because McDyess is still improving. When the playoffs get going I might have a different answer.

edit2: On the other hand, since Webber has arrived, in many of the games where McDyess got minutes and touches, he has been our best big man. He's playing really well and at times looked like the vintage McDyess.
