I remember saying, at the time of his hiring, that it was the wrong move to make. Porter was looking like Mitchell looks this season--overachieving, had his players motivated, etc.. No surprise that it didn't work out for him or for Milwaukee.

Too much has been made over the injuries in Milwaukee. 20 or so games for Redd and Villanueva, plus the season for Simmons, is no excuse for their record. Bogut has played in 60+, as have Bell and Patterson. Williams has played 55, Skinner 58... the team is a lot better than 24 wins.
