Re: Brign back the old school?

Both Hill and Stack would make good pieces, but Corliss is somewhat superfluous given the makeup of our team right now. Hill could do well to back up Prince, although a small forward backup is something we might be able to address with one of our picks. He's still a good player, using his smarts to get good shots and draw fouls, but his athleticism is waning to say the least, and he's strangely turnover prone. He's also missed some time due to injuries, so he is still a bit inconsistent there. The Magic might be better to start playing Ariza more.

I have a hard time seeing Stack leaving. Dallas has a great shot at the title this year, and I think he's going to stay unless they really lowball him or if Dallas implodes in the playoffs. He'd make a great scorer off the bench, and though he's not much of a passer, he's shown his ability to score in bunches.

Those two would be good in solidifying the bench, but our flexibility is dependent on how much Billups commands this summer. There's also Webber to think about.

Stackhouse probably won't be too happy with a big paycut, but Hill just came from the end of a huge one, so I can see him signing a short and reasonable contract here, if he so chooses.
