I think Rosen is given a column mostly to elicit reactions like this. He rarely uses actual analysis, opting for unjustified labels like calling someone a loser or saying that they lack intangibles. He makes proclamations on a player's game based on watching a single game, and he's an unbelievable Phil Jackson homer. To his credit, he knows his history and isn't all that bad when he's recounting a story, but those can turn into diatribes against something about the NBA at the present.
Personally, I find him much more tolerable if you pretend he's an old rambling drunk at a bar who thinks the NBA went downhill after the 60s and hates teams and players for crappy reasons.
