Watch Nash "push" the ball (which imo is more acurate, that's why they used to do it in the old days) and that's the way your delivery favors.
Again, not a darn thing wrong with it - it keeps the ball in front of you, and (as long as you bring it up away from coverage) can be a good tool for acuracy.
Just don't drop it down like Marion - that's one ugly shot that dude's got.
