I would be willing to part with Jamison, Haywood, and a pick for Gasol (and a filler to match the salaries) but I would not want to give up Caron Butler, who is probably going to get even better over the next few years. Maybe the Wizards have already found a big man for the future with Pecherov. If Blatche adds a mid range game and cuts down on rookie mistakes, he could be seen as someone to solve the Wizards problems down low.

Solid big men can be found later in the draft
2006- Paul Millsap, 2nd round
2005- David Lee, Jason Maxiell (late first round)

Still, the Wizards also need to address their need at shooting guard. More likely than not, it will take time for the Wizards to become championship contender.
