Re: 2007 Forum to Forum Mock Draft Pick #16

Rodney Stuckey. He's listed at 6'4 to 6'5, and he has 6'7 wingspan and is capable of playing the 1 or the 2 in an Eddie Jordan offense. He scored over 24 ppg in his past two seasons. He would give the Wizards who could score consistently off the bench which they currently do not have. Arenas could also take less minutes since he is coming off of knee surgery. He could also find himself in the starting lineup. It would give the Wizards a combo guard similar to Larry Hughes. They could also use him to replace DeShawn Stevenson if the Wizards do not resign him.

Jason Smith would not necessarily be a bad selection but the Wizards already have Pecherov coming over and they are likely to re-sign Blatche. While Smith could potentially give the Wizards a center to replace Haywood, he needs to gain more strength in order to be more effective defensively and on the boards.
