Re: How do you feel about the knicks chances next year ?
I don't think this team is going to be any good. This might be an eight seed with an early exit at best. I still don't want to see that happen. Playoffs aren't going to change anything. This team isn't a contender and with Randolph in the mix this is a team that's in the same exact position that the team was in when Layden was here. They just traded away cap space and a young power forward obtained with an eighth pick for a questionable power forward who's had a history of knee problems. The only difference I see is that the Knicks specialize on offense now rather then Layden's Knicks which were more of a defensive teams. This team will likely lead the league in turnovers next year. The perimeter defense hasn't been sured up at all and will still be terrible. The three point game could improve slightly or it could get even worse. The Celtics will be better next year. The Nets will likely be better next year with Krstic back. The Sixers could get worse and be worse than this team, but that's really the only one in the Atlantic. I don't see a bright future for this team.
