I would agree -- the context is that LeBron James has become arguably the best player in the NBA at an age most players are coming into the NBA. If LeBron regressed to Mark Price's level and stayed there for the rest of his career, he still would be better than Price.

The only way Price would be considered greater than LeBron is if King James got injured and/or showed an inexplicably sharp decline in his game. It seems you want to award it to Price simply on the basis of years of service.
