Denver signing Brevin Knight?
There's a discussion thread going on over at realgm.com claiming that Brevin Knight is about to become a Nugget. Anyone hear any confirmation of this?
I would love to Denver pick up Brevin, just on general principle--an excellent playmaker and quick defender. Give Brevin 25 mpg staying in front of Tony Parker, and the Nuggets might have at least won another first round game against the Spurs.
Denver would officially have the shrimpiest backcourt in the NBA, though, with Iverson, Knight and Atkins. Guarding honest-to-goodness SGs would become even more of a problem, and I can't imagine the Nuggets making it past mid-season with all three of these guys on their roster. But honestly, picking up Knight would put us in a better position to think about moving Iverson if he's not gelling with the team by February.
