I had assumed that Harrington wasn't going to play from other things I've heard this year.Apparently Othella believes he can recover from his recent arthroscopic knee surgery and help the Cats.I was thinking it would help us if we could have his roster spot for someone better, younger and better able to ambulate.
Not relevant, but I wish the Observer would hire someone to clean up all the idiotic racebaiting comments on their website.I'm not a big fan of bobby boy,but it has everything to do with his stewardship of the team and nothing to do with the color of his skin. Why the hell does a reputable newspaper provide a platform for this sort of narrowminded stupidity?

Harrington had another arthroscopic procedure on that knee recently, to clean out more torn cartilage. That will put him out for the preseason, but Harrington asserted Monday he intends to play and help the Bobcats.
This will be interesting. Vincent needs big men, particularly defenders. Harrington is a power forward and a fine defender when healthy. It’s obvious he’s not of a mind to retire (a decision that would likely save the Bobcats some money, via disability insurance.)
