Torn ACL likely ends Morrison's season

LOS ANGELES --
Who’s next?
It must feel that way to the Charlotte Bobcats, who Saturday lost their third forward to a knee injury. Adam Morrison suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in an exhibition loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. The team anticipates him needing season-ending surgery.
The Bobcats already had lost Sean May for the season, to micro-fracture surgery, and are awaiting Othella Harringon’s return from an arthroscopic procedure.
Morrison’s left knee buckled midway through the third quarter of a 20-point loss to the Lakers. He cut hard right, reacting to a drive by Lakers forward Luke Walton, and felt a popping sensation in the joint. He immediately crumpled to the floor, grabbing his knee and shrieking in pain.
