What did we learn from the 2007 draft?

As NBA junkies, we strive to not only understand who the best prospects are, but how the draft will play out so that we can have accurate mocks. Each draft tosses a few new wrinkles at us and changes some previously held beliefs. So lets take a deep look at the results of the 2007 draft and see what we can mine from it.

What does the rising of Jason Smith up the board and the dropping of Josh McRoberts tell us?

Is Jared Dudley as a first round pick a positive trend for tweeners or is it an anomaly?

What do you take away from the huge drop for Derrick Byars?

How much does Freshman year performance impact draft stock when you look at the selections of Thaddeus Young, Javaris Crittenton and Daequan Cook?

Do you give up trying to guess who the Knicks will pick as long as Zeke is in charge?
