With Arenas struggling, the Wizards look to avoid the franchise's first 0-5 start in 41 years as they host the injury-riddled Nuggets on Friday night.

After having his surgically repaired left knee drained Wednesday, Arenas had 21 points but continued to struggle with his shooting in an 87-85 loss to New Jersey on Thursday night.

"It's embarrassing to start off 0-4. Last year, we started off 4-0," said Arenas, who is averaging 32.3 points in his last four games against Denver (2-3). "We'll get better."
